We, the Redwood Coast Democrats, are dedicated to the spread of the ideals of freedom by offering hope to our community for a better life in Mendocino and Sonoma Counties and in our state and our nation, through leadership, education, creative ideas, progressive action and local and national activism.
We are a group of active local community members with strong beliefs in democratic principles, open to registered Democrats and youth members from Northern Sonoma County and Southern Mendocino County including the communities of Anchor Bay, Annapolis, Cazadero, Elk, Gualala, Irish Beach, Kashia, Manchester, Point Arena, The Sea Ranch and Timber Cove.
Redwood Coast Democrats is affiliated with the Medocino County Democratic Central Committee, the Sonoma County Democratic Party and with the California Democratic Party.
Due to Covid-19, we staged a Virtual Barn Party in 2020 and raised over $14,000 for donations to candidates and causes.

Our PAC gave a substantial donation to Fair Fight to help register voters in the critical Georgia-U. S. Senate run-off elections.
Voter Registration Campaign
The PAC contributed to each of their campaigns to help elect two Democratic Senators from the state of Georgia.

Helped found and fund the highly successful national postcard writing campaign that sent out over 111,000 mailings in 2020 to register voters in key states.
Locally Run National Postcard Campaign
Raised over $10,000 to help a dozen local immigrants pay for their citizenship applications.

Helped found and underwrite the local group supporting our schools.

For her herculean efforts to create and maintain the independent/public radio station KGUA, providing timely and accurate information to Mendonoma residents, and for her work with Native American peoples.
